ABOUT MIA

Mia Zurovac is a Los Angeles–based writer and creative professional with experience in production, talent support, and publicity. She is a graduate of Carnegie Mellon University’s School of Drama, where she trained in stage and production management, film production, and screenwriting.

Mia began her career in New York City, working across high-profile live events and television. She has served as the Executive Producer’s Assistant for LIVE with Kelly and Mark at ABC Studios, a Jury Liaison for the Tribeca Film Festival, and a Talent Assistant for the Tony Awards. In these roles, she managed complex schedules, coordinated logistics for high-level individuals, and supported both live and taped production environments with discretion and precision.

She currently works as a Publicity Coordinator at Shelter PR, where she supports client campaigns across film and television. Her responsibilities include managing press logistics, preparing materials, servicing press breaks, and coordinating with media, studios, and representatives to ensure efficient communication and execution.

​

Alongside her professional work, Mia continues to pursue her creative interests. She wrote and directed SCHEJ, a mini web series which was submitted to festivals and won the "Audience Choice" award in Miami Web Fest in 2022. She is also currently developing a dramedy pilot titled NYC KIDS.

Mia’s background in production and creative development, combined with strong organizational and communication skills, enables her to support filmmakers and creative teams with reliability, professionalism, and a deep understanding of the storytelling process.
